Home repair with a healthy home focus

We fix the problem, then show you how to keep it fixed.

CAZA TEACHS handles the small repairs and maintenance that keep a house safe, dry, and comfortable — and explains what we found, so you know what to watch for next time.

Moisture
Leaks, condensation, and failed seals can quickly lead to costly damages, we catch them early. Keeping indoor humidity at the recommended 40%–60% also helps protect your space and prevent moisture problems.
Air
Bath/Kitchen fans, dryer vents, and HVAC systems play a critical role in indoor air quality. Clean air and proper ventilation help keep living spaces safer, healthier, and more comfortable.
Water
Hard water silently damages appliances, dries out skin and hair, and wears out clothes faster. Treating it is a simple fix that protects your home and saves money over time.

What we do

Small jobs, done properly

Most of what goes wrong in a house starts small. These are the jobs that are too small for a contractor and too fiddly for a Saturday afternoon.

Moisture & mold prevention

Finding where water is getting in or condensing, and correcting it before it becomes a mold problem.

Caulking, sealing & weatherproofing

Tubs, windows, doors, and trim resealed so water stays out and conditioned air stays in.

Ventilation & indoor air

Bath and kitchen fans, dryer vents, and airflow problems that leave rooms damp or stuffy.

Basic plumbing & fixtures

Dripping faucets, running toilets, worn shutoffs, and fixture swaps.

Drywall patching & touch-up

Holes, cracks, and water-stained sections repaired and finished to blend in.

Home safety checks

A walkthrough covering detectors, handrails, water heater settings, and common hazards.

Two upgrades worth knowing about

Installations that change how a house behaves

Most of our work is repair. These two are additions — and they are the ones homeowners ask about most.

HVAC UV light systems

Installed inside your air handler to keep mold off the evaporator coil and reduce airborne microbes as air passes through.

How UV lights work →

Whole-home water softeners

Removes the calcium and magnesium that cause scale, protecting your water heater, dishwasher, and washing machine.

Why the name

The teaching part is not a gimmick

A repair that you do not understand is a repair you will pay for again. When we finish a job, we walk you through what failed, why it failed, and the one or two things that keep it from happening again — whether that is running the bath fan longer, checking a seal each spring, or noticing the early sign of a leak.

The short version

If a homeowner can spot a problem three months earlier, it usually costs a tenth as much to fix.
